CREATION OF MY OWN DVD EXTRAS

Hello, I'd like to create a dvd extra containing a shareware program; do I just make an extra folder on the dvd and drag the file in there? Or is there a way i can do this with a program preferably dvd workshop 2 to add a link in the menu to open up that folder on the PC? I checked its help file but all i see is to burn a extra folder to dvd in the advanced output settings. Thanks
