hello everyone : need your advice i tryed software
to back up 1 ps2 and it didnt work .what you think i
should do . i am puzzled ps2 has 1 specific format
iso is not the right format its dao . its works
has a data format .im still trying to figure it out:
dvd movies are easy to do but not ps2.
some advice would help .thankyou

sorry but getting a bit confused with your question what exactly are you trying to do? what game are you trying to backup? do you have a mod chip/swap disc's to boot your game backup?

ISO is the right format when backing up a PS2 game. Using the most trusted software (i.e. DVD Decryptor, Alcohol 120, Nero, etc.) will give you an ISO file along with a .mds or .cue file. Either the ISO or .mds file is what is used to burn a backup of the game (your choice).

hi : thank you for your advice .i will try it.
iso right , i try to figure it out without any
modchips . im trying to back up a whole ps2 videogame
thats my goal.

Well, first, you need a modchip or swap disc if you want the game to play on your ps2, you can't play a backup if your ps2 is not modded or if you're not using a swap device. Also, some games won't play with the swap discs, so a modchip is recommended.
