I have a Pioneer DVR-107D which I like so far, but I've noticed in all the reviews I've read about it that it has trouble with backing up games, especially SafeDisc. I haven't tried it myself but I have a question about backing up games in general. I've noticed reading reviews of many writers that most have a hard time with some form or another of copy protection. What is a good drive to get that can allow me to make backups of all my games? One thing I like to do is make disc images of my games and run them from a virtual drive with Alcohol 120% for better speed.

What would be a good drive to use for making backups and images? And/or what software is good for the job also?
