I have a version 7 (39001) ps2 and was wondering which chip is better to get to play all back ups and imports magic 3.1 or the flip top?? and where can get the flip top??
(do u have to pay extra for the cd/dvd loader??)

you don't have to pay for cd/dvd loader, it's a free download. The magic 3.1 is not the best chip for the v7 ps2 as it has problems booting some double check games.The swapmagic discs can't boot dvd9 based imports.
