Splinter Cell PT and Spider-man 2 backup problems

Hi guys, I just made 2 back-ups for Splinter Cell PT and Spider-man 2 but neither of them run on my v10 PS2(with magic V modchip). I used DVD Decrypter to extract the isos from original DVD onto on my HD and burn the isos onto blank DVD discs. I tried all the speeds but the results are the same. For Splinter Cell PT, I put my disc into PS2 and it just shows up as black screen. Nothing happen. For Spiderman 2, it just goes into the memory card browser automatically(It won't load the game at all). Both games are NTSC US. And all my other back-ups work fine.
Are there some new protections with these 2 games??

Please help!!!!

I dont know about spiderman 2 but Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow has some issues with newer systems over version 6. I have a V4 and both these games boot just fine on mine. I think Splinter Cell needs the CD LOADER to play all the way through though. This is a great site to find more in depth coverage of PS2 modding related news. http://www.ps2ownz.com/

Spiderman should work for you - it works on my v9 via swapping (try burning at the lowest speed that your DISC can handle: example, if your blank DVD says it can burn at 2x and 4x then try burning at 2x). SC:PT does NOT work at all with PS2 v7-10. There is a patch for it, but it works only for those versions not mentioned.

Thanks for the help guys, I just changed the brand of my DVD from fujifilm to Maxwell and Spiderman 2 works fine now. But I am still waiting for some solutions for Splinter Cell PT.

splinter cell PT wil not work with V7+ ps2 currently there isn't a swapmagic fix for it. I too was having trouble with spiderman 2. I'm using memorex dvd-r4x. The game tends to skip and freeze for a few seconds and such. I'm waiting on RITEK DVD-R to see if it's the media I'm useing. One of my friends told me he had the same issue with GTA VC and when he used better media it worked fine. I'm wondering if anyone out there used memorex and got the same skipping results?

hi, i have a v7+ ps2 n am using the swap magic dvd's. i mostly use bulkpack dvd-r's and ive never had a problem with them. now all of a sudden im having so much bother with them... spiderman 2 doesnt work.. same with PT and driver 3 loads (slowly) and sticks when im driving around for awhile...i burn all my stuff at 2x and ive never had a prob..tried driver 3 at 1x to see if that helped but it jus turnd out to b a bad burn... im jus gettin so fustrated now lol any sugestions for these 3? or even better any ideas that will work for defs?

Actually, I just read off of ps2ownz that you need Gameshark 2 v2 or Action Replay to get it to boot on v7+ consoles.
