hey Conny,
u said that DVDloader is better then CDloader !!
but how can i boot CD-r games ??can i boot a cd-r games with DVDloader ? u also said :

>put smd DVD
>then swap the DVDloader and then " X "
>and then the backup

the " backup " is that a DVD-R game or CD-R game ??

to boot a cdr backup with dvd loader try this way
1.boot swapmagic dvd and swap for dvd loader by flip/slide press x
2.dvd loader loads(if you need the submenu options press x now) press eject and swap for orignal high toc cd based game or swapmagic cd press eject to send back in
3.wait for it to say ps2 cd in lower left of tv press x
4.wait for swap by ea method prompt at this point swap for cdr backup by flip/slide and press x
5.your cdr backup should now boot

the above method should work for backups of orignal ps2 cd games

yea but i don't have the fliptop ord the slidcard !!!

but what i doo when i want to load DVD-R games -
- i load the Swapmagic DVD and at the " insert disc " screen i hold the blue button (eject button) till my power light the green light turn beige and i switch to my back up then press x and it load !!

oh yeah on what kind of cd can i burn the DVDloader ??
can i burn it on a CD-RW ?

- now when i put SwapmagicDVD and then change to DVDloader it get me the pink bar !

dvd loader needs to be burnt to a dvdr disc not cdr disc and were i put flip/slide use your swap method

but why would u want to use cdloader with cdr game?

dont think i know of any ps2 cd games that need loaders.

me slaps myself actually there are a couple :)
