I'm new to this and not sure how this works. I downloaded a movie off kaaza. it didn't work at first so I went and downloaded the codecs and it works fine on my media player.
Now I would like to put it on a disk so I can watch it on tv.
How do I convert avi to mpeg so my dvd will reconize it. I can watch all my mpeg pics I've burned and smaller video clips I have downloaded it's just this is a full version movie and it's in avi format.

Lonewolf, go and edit the message and take your email address out of it.

Then go to the forums page and search for your question as it is written, it has been asked before many times.

download TMPGENC and convert it then use Nero 5.5 to burn to VCD
