the cd loader for the v1-6 ps2 does not have the sub menu options as they are not needed, only v7+ consoles need the submenu options and they are in the cd loader v7all version,so if you are using a v1-6 ps2 and the cd loader for the v1-6 ps2 then you dont hav to worry about different options as they are not needed

Ok thank you sir. It helps to know what version ps2 you have :-) my mistake. Now that I am past that I still can't play a 1:1 backup of 007 EON. Does it matter if I am using a real ps2 dvd for a TOC refresh?? I am using Metal Gear Solid. Also I am using Gameshark to start the whole process.

I now have sm2 and still can't get 007 EON to boot. Does the SMDVD do more then just refresh the TOC???

have you tried to boot your 007 eon backup with just swapmagic dvd as if i remember right you should be able to play the backup till the 3rd mission before the double check happens

Yes you are correct. When i boot with swap magic 3 cd and toc refresh with metal gear solid 2 I can play the co op and the first player up until the car mission. I think that is the 3rd mission. The game freezez when i try and play the next mission so that is why i tried cd loader. The only thing I am missing out of the instrutions is the SMDVD.

I tried writing the disc at a slower speed and trying a different PS2 original as a toc refresh but no luck. I think I need the Swap Magic DVD for the toc refresh.
