Before I buy 50 of the PRINCO DVD-R's. I want to know if this brand of DVDs is known for damaging the PS2 laser or for any other defaults.
Thanks.

VINDICATED i am selfish. i am wrong. i am right. i swear i'm right. swear i knew it all along.

Damage, maybe, but Princo dvds suck ass and probably wont work in your ps2 anyways (didn't work in mine). Get some ritek g04 discs.

LOL. Just because it doesn't work for you they suck? All of my backups are on Princo's and I have a version 1 PS2. The honest truth is if you don't try it you won't know if it works. Some online services allow you to purchase a "pack" of assorted DVDr's so as to try which ones will work for your needs.

Thanks for the heads up but I've gone ahead and brought them. If they don't work I guess I'll just go play frizbee (sp) instead of the game I wanted. =)

Hey it doesn't matter what vendor, that can happen to ANY media maker. Bad media is the nature of the beast, things happen in production of anything. Just make sure to get your money back and if it doesn't work for you just remember it might work for others with no problems.

I'm not a ran of Princo either but that's because i have extremely exacting requirements. What do you mean when you say "crap"? :)

games wouldn't load at all, and movies would give disc read errors towards the end.
