I have a version 4 ps2, and recently purchased a slide card. So far I have tried numerous games, some of which I was able to play fine on my sister's ps2, which has a mod chip. I have tried both cds, I have also tried cdloader from swapmagicfix.com. Nothing will work, I don't understand; does anyone have an answer to my problem.
I have gotten every screen possible using the dvd swap disk, from red to blue, but they still don't load. My cd swap disk just turns blood red after i try and use that as well.
Please I would appreciate any help, I have just ordered some Ritek DVD-Rs and don't feel like wasting any more money. Thanks

you laser is probably dirty or getting weak, try cleaning the ps2 laser.

i have a question. will the slide card work for most ps2 games (cdr dvd+/-R)?. becasue i want to buy one but the idea of not having to open the console is too good to be true.
