DVD playback in set-top players !

I have just backed-up gone in 60 seconds and fast and furious. I have used Ifoedit 0.932 (also tried 0.94) to remove the DTS etc. I have replaced the special feature vobs with dummy files and edited the DVD machine code to loop back to the main menu when a special feature is selected. (this way I can keep the menu and the DVD player won`t freeze if a special feature is missing). IfoEdit and PowerDVD both play the films fine and the menus work as I hoped they would BUT... I have tried the DVDs on 3 settop players and it won`t work. I did all the usual stuff 'GET VTS SECTORS' made sure the video_ts folder was in uppercase etc. I have looked at all the guides but none of them replace vobs with dummy files or edit the commands.... can someone please help it`s driving me CRAZY!!!!!

I had a similar problem that I solved by creating a DVD image in IFOEDIT and burning that image with STOMP RecordNow MAX. Don't know why it wouldn't work in the set top player (it worked in the PC) just using Nero after clicking GET VTS SECTORS, but the image method was the only way I could get success. To make the ifoedit image function work, you need to download imglib.dll and put it in the same directory as ifoedit.exe. Get it here- http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/Derrow/image.html

Now a question for you. What do you use to edit the menus to get them to loop. Is there a guide that would show me how to do it?
