Hello all, I am new to this forum. Looks like there is some smart people here so I am hoping to get some help. I am trying to back up this game for the PS2 and it just goes back to the pink "insert PS2 disc" screen when starting a new game. Everything else functions up until that point. So far I have made 3 coasters as a result of this. I have tried using Roxio, Alcohol 120% trial version, game X copy. Tried slowing the burn down as much as possible, all of them just stop at that same point. I have cleaned the laser and checked the laser strength and its all good. I have a Magic mod chip in there now and it works fine, this is the first game I have had problems with. I am using TDK DVD+R & Maxell DVD+R media. PLEASE HELP, THIS IS SOOOO FRUSTRATING.
Hey Sly, I have an Action Replay Max, and I can't figure out how to use it to boot, the CD Loader works until the loading screen before level 1 then it freezes, WTF?? Any ideas.....
I have a backup of Pandora Tomorrow and have not had any problems with it. I used DVD Decryptor to make my backup. I have a PS2 version 1 and am using fliptop with dvdmagic.
use action replay (without codes) to load cd loader. then hit x and choose the 5v3 no pn option. then insert swap magic dvd or high toc orginal, swap for splinter cell backup.
for those chipped ARMAX will load your game if you select it and start with out codes, the only version i know for sure though is mine and you can check my signature. then there is no need for swap magic.
