i've seen this topic posted before, but no one has a direct link for downloading the DVDLoader for ps2. i was hoping someone would be kind enough to PM me so they can send me the DVDLoader through e-mail or aim or whatnot.

Just burn cd loader to cd. They are the same program, just one is burnt to cd other to dvd. I have it burnt to cd and load my dvd-r games just fine. see my post on how i load my games.

I'm also confused with CD and DVD loader. sf_kaso-your forum doesn't help on how to use dvd loader. also i read somewhere that you have to use DVD loader on a DVD disc in order to play DVD backups. Can someone please verify this. I'm pretty confused. Are they really the same....can you burn on a CD or DVD?

yes they are the same. it is the same ISO file. you burn it to either cd-r or dvd-r. I burnt it to cd-r and I boot up dvd-r games using it. Don't waste a dvd-r for it. It works for my setup anyways.

by the way do you have swap magic with a flip top or slide card. I have a slide card. And do you use Swap Magic DVD Version to backup your games. And if you do, does CD loader still work.

i have a neo 2.2mod chip. I need Gameshark to boot backed up games.ButI need the cd loader torun the dvd-r games. And I use a slide card. I will get a fliptop eventually. just for looks though

yes they are. Just burn thecdloader iso to cd-r. Use it inconjuction with your Swapmagic disks, or modchip and gameshark disk

No they are not the same. CDloader is crap and doesn't seem to work at all. I need the DVDloader as well.
Can anyone send it plz?

And what does gameshark have to do with any of this?

Some people like to use DVDLoaders because it's less swapping. Other's who have V9 or V10 PS2's can't use the CDLoaders, so they have to get DVDLoaders.

Dvdloader V7 will work, i believe, but its better wit the original Dvdloader because you have a version 1.
