can't fully complete reading when backup ritek dvd-rw

i used a pioneer dvd-recorder to recorde movies on ritek-rw discs. When i used pioneer dvd rewriter A106 to make additional copy, it failed after 15-30 mins and said "it may have scratches or dirt... pls clean finger tips...". However, there is no scratch and it is a clean disc. When i backup same moive recorded on memorex dvd-rw, it worked with no problem. Do i need to change my software USSA-RecordNow-Deluxe to other software like Nero-6? Or to change a DVD rewriter. Can the problem be fixed? Thanks for help.

Hi pmak, The problem sounds like bad media. But the Ritek should be a better blank RW than the Memorex RW. Have you looked to see if you have the latest firmware update for your DVD burner? Firmware sometimes help improve burning to RW discs.
