Regarding my previous post of R-TYPE...
I DO have ALL my files copied from my original disk (now broken). HOW do I make the BIN/CUE files using those aforementioned files?

Plz help...

After reading both of your posts, I can say that the proposed solution you are trying will not produce the desired results. When you create a bin/cue image of a disc, you are not only backing up the contents of the disc but the image also contains a description of how the files are stored on the disc and their physical locations. If you only have files, you do not have the necessary data to reproduce the physical layout of the data. The only suggestion that I might offer is that PS2 game discs are MODE2/XA and you can try burning a data CD that contains the files you have in that mode and see if it works.

PS2 - v8
Mod - Magic V
Burner - CenDyne (Pioneer) DVR-A05
Media - Anything Cheap

Gamecube w/Broadband Adapter
Phantasy Star Online
Animal Crossing Loader v1.4
Phantasy Star Uploader v1.1
Gamecube ISO Ripping Server v1.0.0.29

Icemonkey,

the r-type is a dvd game. Does Mode/XA apply to dvd's as well?

I have Nero and A120%.

What are your suggestions?

Iknow I am asking too much, but do you also have any idea how to install hdloader on my mc using the infinity manager? (matrix infinity 1.2)

I can't get into the technical details of this due to copyright laws and forum rules but since you do still have the damaged original disc that should be sufficient to prove that you are entitled to a backup copy and one thing you might try is to "borrow" a new source disc from somewhere and make a new backup. Keep in mind if you do this you are responsible for respecting your local copyright laws. As for the HD Loader memory card exploit, to my knowledge the only good information I've seen for that is for the DMS3 people and I have a Magic V so I don't even bother.
