Which of these drives is better...?

NEC ND-2510A

And does it matter if the NEC is OEM not retail?

OEM means you will not get any software or cables, just the drive. If you have these that's the way to go. I have the Nec 2510a OEM from newegg. Works great so far. Haven't done a dual layer burn yet. Can't find media around here. When I do I'll post results.

Government big enough to supply everything you need is powerful enough to take everything you have.
