I saw this being advertised on HSN for $199,but i want to find out if it will record PAL as well as NTSC signals.If anyone has one of these,can you let me know here please ?

It doesn't do PAL
I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is any way to recover disks that failed to finalize using this unit?
