I just saw this Pioneer DVD recorder today at Walmart. I can't find it listed by any other US vendors. but it does appear in several UK sites.

Anyway, it's priced at $297 and I wonder if anyone has had any experience with one. I would like to record Hi8mm and Digital videos for keeps, and also would like to record TV shows, such as news, that I could record over and over on the same DVD disk.

I presently do not own any type of DVD recorders.
