Do any of the US Panasonic recorders accept PAL signals ?

I'm thinking of giveing one of the Panasonic DVD-R/HD models a try,but i want to find out if the ones they sell here in the US can accept PAl as well as NTSC.My Philips DVDR985 did,but do any of the Pannies ?
