i have been cheaking out the board for a while now and never posted. i'm old school on the game shark deal so is there a certain code u gotta use before plugging in the backup game ? is it true that u cant backup an entire game on the new hd ? some one please explain.

if you get hd loader you can put games on the hd.

from what i was told it is only a bigger place to store things that you card cant hold all the info on ex:FFXI. is there awat to save game to the hd ? please explain.

so sly according to what i understand does the hd loader come with your hard drive or is it a seperate program that you have to buy ?

its just a program. You need to buy a harddrive. You can either use the official sony 40gig, or you can buy a different (maxtor is recommended) one up to 120gigs.

so if i was to purchase the sony version hd. it wouldnt come with the program on the website you showed me ? thanks 4 answering just want to know before i invest.

no, sony is VERY against this program. If you are able to load backup cd games, i could just send you the hd loader program though. Also forgot to mention (if you don't already know) you need a ps2 network adaptor.
