I using DVD shrink and Nero to burn, but lately i've noticed that im losing space on my hard drive. I delete all the files in the folder that i?ve created for DVD shrink to copy to but if there are 8 or 9 files with the extension BUF IFO ISO only 3 or 4 of these actually go in to the recycle bin what happen to the rest of them?.
I?ve done numerous amounts of searches for these file but I can?t find them, I don?t think i?ve changed any settings on my system. I had used 6GB of hard disk space with day to day running of the PC but now I?ve 11.7 GB used anybody got any suggestions
Im running Windows XP Pro 512Mb ram 40GB HD

My guess is that the total of the files is too large for the recycle bin, so Windows only dumps what will fit, into the bin and deletes the rest.

GrandpaBW is correct ... If the file is too big, it will be deleted and not placed in the recycle bin. To make sure you've cleared all files, run a disk cleanup and check all the boxes.

You could also, in disk cleanup, delete all but your last system restore point. Do you have Norton System Works?
