Alright, today I went out and bought a Broadband Adapter. It was a no-brainer installing it, and I used a left over CAT5 ethernet cable I had to connect the broadband adapter to my linksys router(wired, it isn't a wireless one)

In my home, we own three 3 computers, and each of them have internet. The three took up three slots of the router, so I have one left, I decided to connect the broadband adapter to the last slot of the router. Does this work? Or do I have to disconnect the internet on one of the pc's and directly connect it to the ethernet card?

The purpose of having a broadband adapter is to link it to the pc for Warp Pipe and to rip/stream my games.

On the fold-up help paper that came with my Broadband Adapter it read that the adapter will automatically configure itself. Is this true?

I haven't messed with any of the setting yet, is it OK as is? or do I have to do any special changes to the network on my own. Could someone explain this to me or forward me to a tutorial?

Thanx in advance, and I tried the search button, but came up with no results.

That last slot in your router should work fine. Sometimes routers don't like multiple subnets running around at the same time, a crossover cable is probably your best bet (less packet loss and faster speed too). That means you'll probably want a 2nd NIC for your PC, so you can be on the internet at the same time.

As far as the BBA (broadband adapter) configuring itself, yes, it can configure itself via DHCP for internet play, but you don't want this. You'll be wanting to specifically configure the IP and subnets of the BBA as described in icemonkeys tutorial (on these boards). That same tutorial should answer all your questions (worked for me).
