can i use dvd+r to back up my ps2 discs? I hope so as my burner only does +.THanx in advance for any help

if you have a v4+ ps2, yes (this has been answered hundreds of times).

well, soletta, what version ps2 is it. if its 1-3 +r will most likely NOT work. V4 is a maybe.

I'd like to add that I have a v2 ps2, fliptop and smd's, and I use verbatim dvd+r discs, also dvd-r. But I burned spiderman 2 on a dvd+r, and it runs smoothly. Is there any reason why I can run a dvd+r on a v2 ps2?

i have heard of some people that can get +r to work on their early version ps2's. I guess it depends on which laser sony put in it (they use a few different brands) and the quality of the media you use (verbatim is one of the best).

i have a V7 and v9 i burned DVD+R,DVD-R they all works
DVD Decrypter i had a magic 3 mod for v7 and the New Neo 2 wires for v9
