For some odd reason my Matshita LF-D311 drive will not burn using Nero. It says not enough space bla bla bla. Well it seems that others have the same problem, and I was convinced it was NERO not the drive. So I tried DVD shrink, it won't recognize the DVD-R disk. It has no problem with RAM disks on NERO or Shrink but none of the programs seem to like the DVD-R disks.
