try removing the scratches from your disc using some metalic paint cutting paste, then try using Nero or alcohol again

dvd x rescue will save contents after reading the disk and then you can make a backup immediatly after the disk read. i have had some success with this getting about 50% coaster rate which is good bc i only use it for games that dectyter doesnt read bc of scratches. you can also try cleaning the disk with a baking soda toothpaste solution. that works with minor scratches.

Just use DVDoctor or a similar device, it'll take care of all your scratched disks problems.

Unfortunately by not backing the disc up as an image, all of the information describing the physical layout of the disc has been lost and cannot be recreated. This is why simply copying the files and folders themselves off of the disc will not make a working backup.
