Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered before (but I haven't found it). I have a PS2 game on my comp. There are about 6 various files and a data directory. I've tried buring an ISO DVD using Nero but my PS2 (Has the Messiah chip I believe) brings up the menu which allows me to check the mem card or boot a PS2 disk. It's not recognising the burnt DVD (have tried a couple of different brands and am using -R disks only).

Tried this with a couple of games but still no joy. Wrote them at 1x and 2x but still no joy. I'm wondering if maybe you can't just burn files straight to a DVD-R and boot it. Anyone able to help please as it's driving me crazy :/

I am not sure if you can burn the files from your CPU straight to a disc from a folder. You might want to try a disc to disc copy. I do that all the time and it works great with Alcohol %120.

Unfortunately I am only left with the files on my computer. The original disk is trashed.

I am not 100% sure on how this works but in Roxio I can create a DVD-R like an ISO if I select all the files I want to burn on the image, and when I actually create the DVD-R I burn in DAO (disc at once). This may solve you problem... So you'll need to open a Nero session & create something like a data disc, click & drag all the files you want on the disc to the correct window, then when you select the options to burn, burn with DAO.

Can't get it to work in Nero as all I can do is burn the many files as a DVD-ROM (ISO). Don't know what to use if I must convert the multiple files into a iso image.

Not sure what next...
