CD game to DVD-R. Is it possible?

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to backup a CD game to DVD-R? Is it not the same thing as backup CD to CD-R, where you make a disk image and then just burn it to DVD rather than CD?

it is possible but is extremly complex to do you would have to remove the cd checks from the game and replace them with dvd checks then rebuild the game before you could burn it to a dvdr disc

does anyone have a tutorial on how to do this?

I have DVDLoader and it STILL won't load my CD backups. I know the backups are fine because they work on my V7 but not my V10.

Stupid V9/V10. Makes me angry that I sold the V7 now.

how are you trying to load up the cd based games?, are you using dvdloader and a cd toc refresh?.

I have the same problem. can not get ps2 to boot my cd magic. Have tried using dvd loader and nothing. use the following
boot dvd magic
swap with loader
swap with orig. ps2 game
press x
goes to cd on bottom left
swap with cd back up nothing.

any suggestions. or the guide for putting cd on dvd.
