Hi, I tried backing up this game and patching it so I can play online, but when I try to burn the patched ISO file there is always an error. I wasted 1 dvd trying DVD Decrypter. Then I tried alcohol 120 in simulate and write mode. It said there was an error in the recording mode, but the dvd wasnt recorded on. Therefore the dvd is still useable.


Can anyone help me with this problem?

Im using a dvd+ and _ RW/ cd-rw drive from sony vaio's default computer. Thanks in advance.

I tried again with dvd decrypter and I got this image,

i burned socom 2 on DVD Decrypter and i use swap disc and slide card and it worked perfectly what happens when you boot it ?

the DVD Decrypter doesnt burn it completely, so it wont boot properly.

i tried alcohol, same problem. this seems weird, it happens to almost all the dvd games i want to back up.

found the problem, like many of my other post's about burning movies and games that had problems. It was all fixed with foce aspi, reinstalling updated versions, a virus scan, then updated firmware. This seemed to fix all of my problems. Thanks for the help everyone.
