hi guys i was recently advised to install a duo2 rather than a dsm3 mod chip in my version 4 ps2 because apparently there are some glitching problems with the dsm3 chip. i was i wondering if anyone had any more knowledge on this topic. thx

There is no "glich" to speak of. The problem is that you have to install a DMS3 in a specific way on a V4 system. You must make sure the the D&E wires do not cross each other or any other wires, and that your ground is as short as possible. Its just a harder install thats all. If you are a newb and are doing it yourself I would go with the duo. I dont know of this "glich" first hand though. I have installed a DMS3 in about 50 V4 systems and have never had a problem or one come back.
