I was having a lot of trouble with swap magic.the isos i was burning sometimes worked and some times not.

I was reading and writing them using dvd decryptor with mixed results to say the least. However i've found that if I read them with decryptor but write them using tmpgenc dvd author's burn iso option they work every time.

And before I get flamed i'm not refering to the mpeg encoding software. But a dvd authoring suite from the same company.

Hope someone can use this information. Gotta go play the suffering now(at last)

DiscJuggler v4 always works for me. Never had a bad copy yet after something like 70 games.

Are you doing it from scratch or simply burning an iso? When I burn DVDs I make from scratch, it takes about 8-10 hours to render.

LOL don't tell me that's what you were trying to do... You can't copy it and don't believe anyone who says they have an ISO of it or has copied it. It's a pressed DVD, just like every other PS2 game with the codes on it.

Why not just buy the swap set? its like 24 bucks and works every time. I can't say much for the cdrips though, because they are never done right in my opinion and are geared more towards the mod chip users, but the FullDVDs I make and download always have worked, as well as the port packs for SNES roms and Arcade rom programs ported to the PS2.

Not True. the DVD works in all versions. It just doesn't say because they haven't come out with a new version of the swap magic discs until recently. It's the CD booter that matters. Swap Magic v3.2 works in versions 9 and 10. If you google it I'm sure you'll find it. But I had to buy a new PS2 cause my little bro took his toll on my old one. Needless to say I didn't feel like hunting down an older version. Since I only use DVD copies, it wasn't a problem with the DVD boot disc. But if you plan on using a lot of DVDrips on CDs, then buy Swap Magic 3.2
