Hello there.
I know there have been many threads relating to PS2 games backup, but I'm still confused.
I 've got a v.9 PS2, using Swap Magic 2.0. I used Nero once to copy "Final Fantasy X-2" and it worked fine. Alcohol 120% also did nice work with "Driv3r". But the same programs did no work copying "Shrek", "Spyro", etc. I once copied "Project Zero" and was all fine. What I want to say is that, backup works sometimes and sometimes not. I am making image to HD at maximum speed and writing it at 1x. Please, tell me what do I do wrong. It's not a matter of quality DVD-Rs, cause "Driv3r" works great in a "Mirror" DVD-R, but "Broken Sword 3" for example, did not work at all in a "Sony" DVD-R...
Actually, when I say not working, I mean ages of loading screens or "insert a Playstation 2 disc" screens after a while. Games load fine for a moment and then these screens...
Please, someone tell me the Settings in DVD Decrypter in "ISO Read Mode" and "ISO Write Mode" tabs! What do I check and what not? Someone tell me step by step what do I have to do with DVD Decrypter (or any other program), which files do I burn etc. I'm a total newbie. Thanks a lot.

BTW, I just burned a game in "Mirror" DVD-R using TMPGEnc DVD Author and it's playing OK. But, it takes very long to burn the DVD-Rs!!! Have I done something wrong? Also, I can't change the write speed from maximum to another (1x). Any suggestions?

dvd decrypter is what i use. I highly suggest using better media, even though some games work, others are more laser straining and require better media. lastly, check out http://www.swapmagicfix.com

Well, confused again. Check this: I own a v.9 PS2 OK? I copied "Shrek 2" and there is the "insert a PS2 disc" screen. I downoaded CDLoader v.7 ALL, but I got confused (Again :P). Which files do I burn and which software should I use? thanx
