Hello. I tried to burn "MGS: Substance" today, but it was about 6 GB! What do I do to copy this title (or similar ones)? Thanx

you either need a duel layer writer and a boot method that supports dvd-9 or you can split it to 2 dvd-5 discs have a look here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/42042 but its quite an old thread also you could check out http://www.swapmagicfix.com for other dvd-9 game file splitting lists

Isn't there a way to compress the DVD in order to burn it into a DVD-R?

with ps2 DVD-9 based games it is not possible to simply just compress them like you would a movie you either have to split them to multi dvdr discs or with some DVD-9 based games you can "rip" them(by removing the fmv sequences etc)to fit on a single dvdr disc

hey devxneil whcih software programs do u use for burning games casue doesent it say u cant burn them cause it is proteceted by soem kind of law so if u can tell me which programs u use ill appreciate it cause i am also trying to burn ps2 games thanks
