Backing up Swap Magic?

What program works if any to back Swap Magic 3.0? I tried Nero and Clone Cd, and couldnt get either to read the cd.

...well, it technically can, but it won't work, as you already found out.

Swap Magic works because it wasn't burned on a DVD-R drive, it was pressed like any other mass production DVD is. A mold is made of the DVD image, and that mold is used to make the rest of the DVDs. If you copy the swap magic disc, the data is all there, but something (which I'm not sure what exactly it is) is different between a pressed DVD and a burnt DVD. The PS2 is made to look for that difference and only play PS2 games that are on pressed DVD discs, which is why a DVD copy alone will not work in the first place. All of the data is on that copied DVD, but that extra part that pressed DVDs have is not there. By the same token, a copied Swap Magic disc will not run on a PS2 because it also does not have that extra part that can not be burnt on to a DVD-R.
