I just bought this drive, threw it into an external case, and am trying to get my powerbook to play with it.

I can read DVDs (haven't tested CDs for anything) but am unable to write them.

Patchburn doesn't seem to be helping me. The online comments are all for patchburn II, which requires os 10.3, something I can't put on my HD until i back up my drive, which requires using the DVD burner...

Any thoughts, advice on how to get this drive to burn in Jaguar?
