I just bought a xbox an i heard ppl say that they downloaded games onto there xbox hard drive, i was wondering if some1 can tell me the requirements, things need and a step-by-step, plz. it would be gladly appr. btw thx n advn.

Things you will need:

- a modchip
- bios to flash the modchip with (X2 4983)
- an alternative dashboard (Evox)
- FTP access between your PC and Xbox (FlashFXP)
- a bigger HDD
- a tool to convert files into Xbox images (Craxtion)
- Nero (or any other DVD burning prog)
- patience (lots of trials and errors)

if you dont have craxtion 4.0 (you need .net on your pc to use it) then use qwix
btw, psssst, (hint: dont mention "downloading" games, legalities you know!)
Also if youre going from a PC to xbox, you either need a crossover cable (direct) or a cat5 cable (if using a router etc) from PC to XBOX

well i'd say since your new and you probably have a v 1.6 xbox i'd just have someone who knows what they're doing mod it
