What type of DVD media is supported. Will DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, and DVD+RW all work? and does it depend on which version of PS2 you own?

it depends on which ps2 version you have. dvd-r will work on all versions. dvd+r will work on some v4 and all v5+ consoles.
