How to shrink DVD-9 games to DVD-5

For games such as MGS2: Sub and others which are DVD-9 size, what software do you use to shrink them to DVD-5 to be able to burn on to a normal DVD-R disk?
And also, out of interest, would i be able burn CDloader onto the same disk as my backed up game and still boot it up, coz someone told me you could but swapmagicfix.com states that you can't...

You cannot "shrink" a game as it would require some compression and that would totally ruin access to the game. You can, however, split the DVD9 .ISO so that 1/2 of the game fits on 1 DVD and the other half on another DVD. That is the only solution so far - apart from using a dual layered dvd burner. Do a search as there is a guide on how to split DVD9 games.

As far as loading cdloader onto your DVD/CD to save a swap or whatever - it hasnt been done successfully by anyone here.
