Please help guys..i'm a newbie, i have a ver9 ps2 i think(SCPH 39006)NTSC, a GIGABYTE 8x DVD writer, and hav tried DVD Decrypter, Nero, Alcohol, and Record now, but none of them work! T_T I definately have a modchip but dunno which one, and i don need 2 swap disk. I've also tried both -R and +R media... plz help me...i dunno what i can do no more...

your ps2 is most likley a v7 or 8 unit and did you try pressing the reset button after you inserted you backup in the ps2

some mod chips have certian boot procidures you have to use to boot different types of backup others boot your backup just like the orignal but without knowing what chip you have its hard to suggest what method to try, you could try inserting your ps2 backup in the console them put it into standby mode then press the reset button to turn it on and see if it will boot that way. wghat happens when you try to boot your backup?what brand/type of dvd+r/-r discs did you try?what speed did you burn your backup at?

I used Verbatim both - and +R and i've tried 2x with DVD Decrypter and when tried to boot my back up the red screen came up..

this is getting baffeling as you have tried most things that i would normaly suggest, do you have a friend that has a modded ps2 and would let you test your backups on there console and see if they will boot so we can find out weather the problem is with the backups or your ps2

THis is for the pros. OK im new to this so i need to know a little something im about to buy a dvd burner i want to know what kind should i get im only going to spend about 100 bucks so around that range what kinda media i know dvd-r but i want to know what the best kind to get i was thinking Verbatim but i don't know
I used Nero to make a image then i burned it to a TDK i don't know if it works because i haven't recived my slide card yet.I went to my Friend house and tryed to burn with DVD Decrypter on his pionner but it gave me and error when i tried to burn it to the TDK dvd-r. I know about read iso then write iso on 1x allready but i tried to write the iso flie with Nero and record now and they both messed up.But like i said i made the game a image useing Nero express then burned it but i don't know if that's the right way Can someone Help

hi as to ps24me my chip boot sequence is like this. 1.open disk tray and place game in the tray. 2.close tray and turn off ps2 at the back. 3. turn back on and press restart and quikli put in standby mode by holding restart. 4. press restart. this should be right if u have the same as me and i have a v6 ps2 with a very new modchip. now to 2kwic for a ps2 i use tdk for movies and they work but the thing u have 2 look out 4 is if it has the dvd sign and r under it some times it dont work but the ones with rw on it work

NEED HELP TO COPY PS2 GAMES, I COPY MY DVD MOVIES WITH DVD Shrink AND ROXIE, BUT WHEN I TRY TO COPY MY PS2 GAMES I GET A BREIF BEGINNING AND THEN IT FREEZES IN A BLANK SCREEN. IT COPIED WITH NO PROBLEM, AND THE ORIGINAL WORKS OK
WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?
