OK first of all, has anyone ever gotten this to work?

This package came to me together with the Swap Magic 2.0 DVD. The DVD sm works perfectly accept that half the times it doesn't even read it. (but when it does, it works)

So let' just follow the instructions here... and I quote "Simply turn on the PlaStation 2, insert Swap Magic Bootdisc CD or DVD version, according to what type of backup you are about to play. Wait for the screen to say "Insert Disc"."

Now these last 2 words are kinda odd if you use the 3.0 cd version since I've never ever seen them before.

I get this screen with "load program" and "video mode" and no matter what I put in, the screen always goes to red stars followed by a red/blue border.

I think they should have been more specific instead of just giving the instructions for the 2.0 version instead.

So can anyone help me with this little problem?
I have a V7 PAL version ps2.
