I have 'LAV' on VHS and cannot copy it to DVD-R on my Panasonic DMR-HS2. I am able to dupe it on another VHS but I want this little gem of a movie on DVD because they will never release it. I know quality will suck but at least I will have a permanent copy that won't degrade. I upgraded an APEX AD-1100W to allow me to copy my DVDs flawlessly, but alas, I still cannot record
