What about BTC or Empex
These Internal 8X burners are getting pretty cheap and don't have rebate hassle.

you see the thing is if its not a anme brand then its not going to be that good of quality. Get a good name brand one and youll have no problems.

Hi sony4life
I/O Magic does not manufacturer DVD burners. I have an I/O Magic 4X burner that is an Optorite DD00203. According to the I/O Magic forums, the 4X burner could also be a BTC model. The burner was alright but media picky. I have since replaced the unit with a BenQ DW800A. It cost me $70.00 Canadian and burns my 4X medai at 8X.
I hope this helps
