I am new to the site and am interested in the HD loader. What would be a good 120 gig harddrive for this application?

50001 version 9 playstation, look on back of ps2 for info. also note i have a dms3 chipped ps2. search forums for "ps2 version" and you will find a guide that will tell you.

do you have to have a slide card or a magic disk in order to use the hd loader?, or does the program make the eject come out so it dosent reset itself ?

HD Loader is the best back up program. I really suggest it if you can find it. I hear they stop selling but consilesource.com still has them. You do not need the swapmagic set for it but you do need it if you want to make a back up of a backuped copy of a game. It is the bomb.
