I Recently purchased a flip top for my ps2 and the boot disks and am anxious to try them out. I have a external 12x DVD burner and memorex DVD+r. I used DVD Decrypter to rip my copy of NCAA 2005 and everything went smooth. Then when I tried to burn the game, I have gotten an error everytime. I have tried to rip and burn the game using alcohol 120, dvd decrypter, and cdrwin, and i keep getting an error. When using DVD Decrypter, I get an error saying " I/O Error, Interpretation: Check Condition and then it says CDB: 2A 00 00 01 5D 80 00 00 10 00, Interpretation: Write (10)- Sectors 89472-89487," Then another code, and with the interpetation "Unknown (0x44,0X8D)" Please help!!!! I have tried many DVD's with no luck. THanks

If , as you are saying, DVD Decrypter worked and you have a file then I suggest that for copying you use DVD Shrink (free software) ; On the 'DVD+-R Digest' web site you will find an excellent manual how to set up everything in both softwares and how to copy dvds;
Personnaly I've tried many combinations and found several working well but combination of DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink I have found is the best (for me anyway)
Good Luck

don't think DVD Shrink will work with ps2 games as far as i know it's only for movies,is your external writer connected to a usb 2.0 port or usb 1.1

The external is connected to a usb 1.1, I didnt know if that would make a difference since I AM able to burn movies, but this is my first game. Do you think that that is the problem?

not 100% sure but it is a possibility because of the reduced bandwidth also dont know if it would help but you could try checking if your aspi layer is installed corectly and try burning at a slow speed to see if that helps

Alright thanks, I just ordered a USB 2.0 PC card adapter so that hopefully will do the trick. I tried burning at a slow speed, and the fastest that it would burn at according to DVD Decrypter was like 0.5x, so im thinking that the USB speed probably had something to do with that. How do I check the aspi thing you were talking about?

getting usb2.0 is a good start (and probably the solution). you could try switching media (memorex doesn't work for a lot of people) like ritek or verbatim.
