I tried to back up cd based games like Virtua fighter 4 into LG CD-R using Alcohol 120% but the PS2 doesn't recognize them .which one of these r wrong ?

1.The cd type (LG CD-R 700 MB) i heard that it's better to use CD-RW with 1x speed ?
2.The Software (Alcohol 120%) i always choose the Playstation 2 settings
3.The PS2 itself (it reads ps1 cd-r and ps2 backup dvd's)
