For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

Mp3advance or Safe-share is one of the crappiest P2P programs I have ever seen. Do not be dupped into buying this. Research first if you plan on paying for a P2P program or you can just go find free ones.
