hello everyone i need help big time i bought a flip top and swap disc, the disk work fine bcos i browed my friends backed up game and it worked. the probblem is i got 1 dvd writer so i have to copy the games to my hard drive so i copied driver 3 to my hard drive and tried copyin it wid nero 100s of tyms but the wunt boot on my ps2 i tried using dvd decrypter but it wunt let me make a iso dvd, i heard you lot sayin you have to make an image how do you do that, and on nero wot dvd type do i burn is it iso or iso(bootable) which needs an image please help some1 any1

dvd decrypter
1. mode-iso-read to create the image
2. mode-iso-write to burn the image
Also, use good quality media.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader

It might be your media, are your dvd+/-rs cheap? If they are you may need to update your firmware. Does the game work on your friends console? Are you using + or - discs? Tell me

no the games dont work on my friends console. i am using mr data +r disks. when i use DVD Decrypter it makes 2 files are those 2 the files i burn

Do you have a - burner? dvd-r discs generaly work better. Try using cd loader with your games,
Swap Magic CD version -> CD Loader-> Press Eject and insert something big like Swap Magic DVD or a Game like Vice City or GTA3(it has to be the original), wait fot a while then press x ->insert your PS2 dvd game

you burn either one of the 2 files DVD Decrypter makes (it doesn't matter). Also get some better media, thats probably your problem.

damn noobs!
look throw away the DVD +r casue theyre junk on most every console except the model 7+ and even then thats iffy. Stick with DVD-r and you should be fine. Also make sure you use expensive DVDs like Ritek or anthing name brand. A lot of games work fine on cheap DVDs but there are those games that stream like GTA / SPiderman 2/ Driver 3 that need the good shit to work right

Dont even backup that game - it sucks big time. Oh and ALL I USE is +R because it's GRAVY.

As already pointed out, older PS2 consoles like your can't read DVD+R media. You must burn to DVD-R media. My version 9 ps2 however can read DVD+R just fine.
