Games Keep Locking Up! Please Help!

I have backed up three different games (Rainbow Six 3, Red Dead Revolver & Spyro). I have played each game one time right after I burnt them to ensure that they work. They all worked the first time that I played them. But, after I tried to load them up again they would not work. The games would lock up (mainly in the beginning title screens). I have tried re-booting them several times with no luck. I have also burned multiple copies of them on different media and at different write speeds to try to eliminate any problems. My original PS2 games work fine.

I have a PS2 version 5 with Swap Magic and a Fliptop. I have a Sony DVD burner that I just purchased. I used the DVD Decryptor. And I used two different types of media: DVD?R Ritek G04 4x and burned at 2x & 1x and DVD+R TDK 4x and burned at 2x. I also cleaned the laser on my PS2 and the burnt games still do not work.

Should I try different media again? I have followed all of the directions and I am now getting very frustrated.


Thanks in advance. I?m sure most of you know, when you hit a bump in the road it can be really stressing and frustrating.

You attached them with a gluestick!!! Of course they won't work. You can buy CD labels that stick on. Why on earth would you put gluestick onto a DVD??? OMG! Take the gluestick off. Put your DVD inside warm water (that won't screw it up) And take of the label and gluestick....gluestick....why...what a dumb idea..
