Anyone know about Memorex DVD+R, Fuji DVD+R, Verbatim DVD-R or Verbatim DVD+R on PS2 V4 only? If you have a PS2 V4 please tell me what media you use. I tried Memorex on my PS2 V1 and it worked but it is having problems on the V4. It loads Resident Evil Outbreak up to the reading of the memory card majority of the time. I was once able to go to choose a character but once I choose it went to a black screen and I wasnt able to see the fmv, it juststayedthere. Any reason why its acting like this? Thanks a lot!

your v4 might not like +R media. I use ritek or verbatim on mine.

Pioneer 107, ritek g05

1. try cleaning your ps2 laser
2. try cd loader (its not listed as needing it, but might help).

thx alot sly! I found that memorex works on the ps2 when I backed up my NBA Live 2004, however for some reason Resident Evil Outbreak still doesnt work. I am using CogSwap with Metal Gear Substance as the Large-TOC. It works on my v1 but not on my v4. It loads Resident Evil Outbreak up to the reading of the memory card majority of the time. Do you have any idea? I burned 4 backups on different brands, one being memorex. Thanks a lot
