I have recently purchased dvd-r disc, but for some reason when I try to make backups of my ps2 games it doesn't allow me. It keeps on telling me to put in a dvd-r even though there is already a blank dvd-r in it. By the way I have tried dvd decrypter alcohol 120% and nero and none of them works. The brand of the dvd-r is Fujifilm *disc for data and video*. Can someone help me please?

Do you think I should try using a different type of media or is the problem in my burner (the burner and read cd-r and dvds but not this certain blank dvd-r)

it should tell you in the device manager, or at least give you the name of the drive so you can look it up on google.

it depends on which version of windows your running but,

control panel
system (or system resources)
Then there will either be a tab that says device manager
Or a hardware tab, and a device manager button
then click on cd rom and your burner should be listed

yeah, around there. check out pricewatch.com or newegg.com. id go with the pioneer 107. You going to need an external one for your laptop.
