Hi there. After I have used DVD Decrypter to decrypt the movie to my harddrive and I split the title set files into 2 folders using ifoedit, the program splits the files onto disc 1 without a problem, but it fails after copying about 3 files onto disc 2 (and comes up with an error message, something like "error reading file..."). This only occurs when I try and split really big movies, like of size 7 Gb or more, when using DVD shrink would have a compression ratio of around 50% and therefore make it not worth doing. My questions are:
I have used ifoedit successfully before, but lately when it has been failing I've noticed that it copies about half the title set files to disc 1, but then starts to copy ALL the title set files to disc 2 before failing. Is that what is supposed to happen? I have a 20Gb hardrive with 15Gb of free space, so with DVD decrypter I end up losing just over 7Gb of capacity and then with ifoedit, a further ~4Gb with disc 1 and by the time the process fails during disc 2, I have only about 1.5Gb of free hardrive space, which I guess explains why the process fails, but I want to know if there is anything I can do to make the process use less space, and if not is there another method or another program I could use to burn really large DVD's onto 2 discs??

You can just rip and split with one step using DVD Shrink. Just open the disc, click the re-author button, double click the main movie to add it to your backup, and click the button the Set Start/End Frames button (the one with 2 arrows pointing toward the center). In the Set Start/End Frames window you can select the chapter you want to the the last one on the first disc. Click the OK button and then on the main window click the Backup button to create the first disc.

When that's done, click the Set Start/End Frames button again, set the last chapter back to the last one on the disc, and set the first one to whatever the first chapter of disc 2 should be. Click OK, and back on the main screen click the Backup button again to create disc 2.
